What does science fiction have to do with real-world interface design? Chris Noessel, co-author of Make It So: Interaction Design lessons from Science Fiction and the website,  traces the mutual lines of influence between the two, investigating how the depiction of technologies evolves over time, how fictional interfaces influence those in the real world, and what lessons designers can learn through this process. Come listen to Chris share his insights, discuss examples (good and bad), and explain why you should care.
