As designers we listen consciously and subconsciously, to ourselves and to others. Design, particularly UX design, can be thought of as a feedback loop, where systems listen to users and users listen to systems, using all of our respective senses.

But what does it mean to listen? Or to listen to data? What happens when data listens to us? How do we design to listen and design listening?

By looking at a few recent projects, Experience Designer Daniel Perlin will explore design approaches that aim to listen to users and help users listen more closely to each other.
